This Universal Epic Universe vlog begins with a transfer from Disney’s Polynesian Tower to Universal Orlando Resort with Jim from Home James Orlando Transportation. After arriving at Epic Universe and stepping into Celestial Park beneath the Chronos, we take in the music, fountains and intricate theming that make this park feel completely immersive from the moment you enter.

We start our day in How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk with Hiccup’s Wing Gliders, using Universal Express and facial recognition to access both the attraction and lockers. We talk through how Express works at Epic Universe, including which attractions are included and how the face scanning system speeds up the process. From there, we explore more of Berk, browse the themed merchandise and later ride Fyre Drill, where we quickly discover just how soaked you can get on this water attraction, followed by a stop at the people dryers.

In Celestial Park we ride Stardust Racers and discuss wait times, test seats and the locker system, as well as the Annual Pass photo package and how to add ride photos to your account. We also visit Constellation Carousel and take in the atmosphere of the park as the music builds for the surprise and delight fountain moments throughout the day.

Inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Ministry of Magic, we explore the Parisian streets, mobile order at Café L’air de la Sirène and experience Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry of Magic. We share our thoughts on the scale of the Ministry, the queue details, Dolores Umbridge’s office and the combination of live action, animatronics and large scale effects that make this attraction such a standout at Epic Universe.

Next we head into Super Nintendo World, where Gary experiences the interactive Power Up Band activities for the first time, collecting keys, completing challenges and facing Bowser Jr before riding Mario Kart Bowser’s Challenge and Yoshi’s Adventure. We explore the moving scenery, bright colours and layered design that bring the video game world to life.

Finally, we return to Dark Universe to ride Monsters Unchained The Frankenstein Experiment, meeting characters such as Ygor along the way, before ending the evening with merchandise browsing in Other Worlds Mercantile and reflecting on which worlds and rides stood out the most.
