But there are two details in this scene that explain why his phone is so important.

And the first is the design.

Before he puts the phone back in his suit pocket, he folds it completely in half.

But the real secret is that this is a callback to when he fought Vulture in Spider-Man: Homecoming and completely broke his phone screen.
